Nguanggali is a type of flightless bird that lived on Sumba in ancient times and is now extinct so there are no longer any types of Nguanggali birds that we can actually meet. Therefore, I am bringing back the story of this bird in the history of Sumba ikat weaving so that it can be remembered again in the future. This ikat weaving is a contemporary motif that I created by remembering the history of the Sumba civilization and the typical living creatures that once lived in the area.
