Manu Marra is a motif that is very rarely used in weaving. Manu Marra is often depicted with small motifs and only as a complementary image in a weaving so there is not much that highlights the philosophy of Manu Marra. The Manu Marra motif has the meaning of preserving natural beauty. Peacocks also once lived on the island of Sumba, but because they were hunted by many hunters, these birds are no longer seen on Sumba. Therefore, I brought up the Manu Marra motif again with a large motif so that many people will remember that Sumba used to have beautiful endemic birds and now only stories remain through weaving.
